Alfre Woodard

Alfre Woodard is an American actress, producer, and political activist. She has been named one of the most versatile and accomplished actors of her generation.

She has been nominated once each for an Academy Award and Grammy Award and 18 times for an Emmy Award (winning four) and has also won a Golden Globe Award and three Screen Actors Guild Awards. In 2020, The New York Times ranked Woodard seventeenth on its list of “The 25 Greatest Actors of the 21st Century”. She is also known for her work as a political activist and producer. Woodard is a founder of Artists for a New South Africa, an organization devoted to advancing democracy and equality in that country. She is a board member of Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

Annouchka de Andrade

Anouchka de Andrade had no real contact with the Guadeloupe culture of her mother, herself born in France and not speaking Creole. This did not prevent her from making five films on Césaire, to which she was very close.

Insufficient for the Guadeloupeans who turn their backs on it. From his father Anouchka remembers the long letters they exchanged and the famous personalities who passed by gusto at the house. Mario de Andrade was one of the founders of the MPLA which fought for the independence of Angola. he was long sought by Interpol. She was therefore born in Moscow, grew up in Rabat and Algiers, before arriving in France at the age of 10. Today she thrives in her function of Festival Director, what could be more normal for a woman of culture like her.

Robert Silman

Dr Robert Silman is a Director of Doctors Club Ltd, Wonderland (Quality filter for films) and Tambar Arts Ltd (Art, Theatre and Book publisher).

Dr Robert Silman on Post retirement (from medicine) a theatre producer introducing Joan Rivers at the Edinburgh Festival then taking her into the West End of London (Theatre Royal Haymarket) and on a UK and Ireland tour. He has also produced Off-West End and at the Steppenwolf Theatre in Chicago, and the Beckett Theatre in New York. He has two patents granted by the US Patent and Trademark Office, “A Quality Filter for the Internet” (Patent: 7895202) and “Rewards for Unseen Website Activity” (Patent: 8311881).
